02-05-2010 | Morgan Stanley has appointed Anthony Lauto as a managing director in New York, Bloomberg reports. He will be responsible for leading the company’s equity-trading business.

Lauto will also become a member of Morgan Stanley’s equity operating committee, helping guide strategy and developing new leaders. He was earlier a partner at Goldman Sachs, where he has also served as a managing director and a senior manager on the block-trading desk.
