seeing we are living in a gobal marketplace, and the fall out from any problem in any country will have ramifications through out the globe, all restrictions and legistation should be looked at globally

Sadly, the extraordinary measures taken in the last couple of years may in the future be considered to be more ordinary. After a tool has been used for the first time, it's more likely to be used again in the future.
I am optimistic things can be turned around in the long-term, if we have the political will to permanently stop using short-cuts and giveaways to special interests.
